About Us – Select Cards UK

Bringing Fans Closer to the Game Since 1993

Select Cards was founded by Grant Copley in 1993 with a simple belief: every sporting hero deserves to be celebrated, and every fan deserves a way to hold that moment in their hands. For over 30 years, we've been producing official licensed collector cards that capture the stories, the rivalries, the tries, the tackles, and the legends that make our sports unforgettable.

What started as a passion for connecting fans to the game has grown into a trusted legacy spanning the AFL, NRL, NBL, Rugby League World Cup, Super League, Cricket, and more. We are proud to be an official licensee, and that status is something we've earned through decades of dedication to quality, authenticity, and the collector community.

Our Story

We've spent 35+ years celebrating the heroes and history of the sports we love. Every card we produce tells a story. It might be a breakout season, a Grand Final performance, or a career that changed the game forever. Our job is to make sure those moments live on, not just in memory, but in collections that fans treasure for years to come.

From our earliest releases to our latest strictly limited-edition sets, we've always believed that collector cards are more than printed cardboard. They're a connection between the fan and the field, a piece of the game you can call your own.

What Makes Us Different

  • Official Licensee: We hold official licences for Super League, the Rugby League World Cup, NRL, AFL, NBL, and more. Every card we produce carries the weight of authenticity.
  • Genuine Scarcity: Our UK Hobby Box releases are strictly limited, often fewer than 1,000 boxes. When they're gone, they're gone.
  • Autograph Chase Cards: Our signature and autograph cards are among the most sought-after in the hobby, featuring the biggest names in the sport.
  • Club-Specific Products: From team card albums to personalised team interest lists, we help you collect around the club you love.
  • Super League Collector Club (SCC): Members receive guaranteed product allocation, exclusive offers, and priority access to new releases.
  • Free UK Shipping: On featured products, because collecting should be rewarding, not expensive.

Who We Serve

We're here for all of you. If you've just pulled your first pack and felt that rush of turning over a rare card, welcome. If you've been collecting since the 1990s and your binder is bursting at the seams, you're home. And if you're a rugby league fan who simply wants to celebrate your club and its players, we built this for you.

New collectors, seasoned hobbyists, and passionate supporters all belong here. Our community is built on a shared love of the game and the thrill of the chase.

What Drives Us Forward

After three decades, our passion hasn't faded. If anything, it burns brighter. We're constantly working on new releases, new partnerships, and new ways to bring fans closer to the sports and players they care about most. The hobby is growing, and we're proud to be at the heart of it in the UK.

Thank you for collecting with us. Here's to the next chapter.
